A common question for anyone wanting to squad up with friends: can you play across platforms?
Is there crossplay?
No. Ghost Recon Breakpoint does not support crossplay. Co-op is limited to players on the same platform.
- PlayStation (PS4) plays with PlayStation.
- Xbox (Xbox One) plays with Xbox.
- PC (Ubisoft Connect / Steam) plays with PC.
Friend Pass
Even without crossplay, you can still bring a friend in:
- Friend Pass lets a friend try the game free on the same platform as the owner.
- The friend downloads the pass version and joins your session without buying the full game first.
Platforms
Breakpoint launched on PS4, Xbox One, PC and later Stadia. The Steam version arrived January 23, 2023.
Servers remain online despite major content updates ending April 5, 2022. Co-op uses dedicated servers; solo play works fully offline.
