Ghost Recon Breakpoint Classes & Builds

Five classes, each with a signature skill and playstyle. Here's how they fit together and which build shines in co-op.

The 5 classes

Your class defines your signature skill; weapons and gear build around it.

Signature skills

Each class unlocks a unique charged ability as you fight.

Assault

Frontline bruiser — the Berserk drone overloads enemies and boosts your damage.

Sharpshooter

Long-range precision — the Ballistic Drone marks and tracks targets at distance.

Engineer

Tech specialist — the Recon Drone scans, hacks and reveals the battlefield.

Echelon

Stealth infiltrator — the Stealth Drone cloaks you for silent approaches.

Panther

Close-quarters killer — the Sensor Drone pins and staggers enemies up close.

Best class combos for co-op

A balanced four-stack usually runs one Echelon or Panther for stealth/control, one Engineer for recon, and two Assault or Sharpshooter for damage. Duos favour Assault + Sharpshooter for survivability and burst.

Can you switch classes?

Yes — you can change your active class and respec at any bivouac. Your level, weapons and gear are kept.
